- Description
What would happen if we simply let our minds rest? How would we do that? And what would be the point? Buddhist meditation practices are categorised according to two types. Samatha meditation, calm abiding meditation, cultivates concentration and tranquility, developing a still, calm, and focused mind. Vipassana meditation, insight meditation, allows a deeper insight into the nature of reality.
